Director of Madras cafe Shoojit Sircar has done an excellent work by bringing this type of movie to the audience. he has pulled the audience very well that we can say that Madras Cafe is Must watch movie. Screenplay and cinematography of the movie has taken the film to the next level

As Said earlier the film is not based on the Rajiv Gandhi assanination but some what related one. The same Human bomb matter , someone is planning to assasin someone, Actually let me tell you how the movie starts with the blood shud killing the innocent one which takes next scene to the troubling miltary officer Vikrant Singh(John Abraham) trying to overcome the situation drinks alcohol.From ther he goes to church and recalls what had happened and their the story begins.This story takes us back to 1980's of srilankan war.
the lead role of the film John Abraham is an mollitary officer who caries all the undercover operations tht are being held at LTA,a rebel group e\which is being marched by Anna Bhaskaran (Ajay Ratnam). While carrying out his operations he meet Nargis fakhri who is also an undercover british correspondent and thanks to the director that he hadnt added any filmy style love line when they meet. He had shown the seen normally and so realistic how the people relly meet.And some converstion between John and nargis occurs where john will be talkingn in Hindi and nargis in English where i felt embarrassed and the film passes on with john hunting to find some clues regarding traggic deaths and unfilds many twists during his stay in Srilanka
Director in the movie has also shown how the milltary officer love life is and how for him no other love is greater than his love towards the nation,
In some point of time during the film we will find that their is some assasination going to happen and in the filmy way we think that the Hunk john is going to stop .but let me tell you no such thing happens the dirctor has chosen to be realistica and everyone is going to like that and one thing i can say is their is no winner or loser and even there is no hero or villain. All the cast had performed very well and the importance of every actor or say character are shown nicely;
